Today was a pretty average thursday.
I got up, drank coffee and called the dmv to get my license all situated (long story), ate an apple with peanut butter (and maybe a few chocolate chips), and proceeded out the door to get to spanish on time.
spanish was long and laborious and not over soon enough. after this, I went to the doctor to get a breast ultrasound (TMI?). bet you didn't know those existed. and if you did, well, you're really awesome because I certainly had no clue whatsoever and was petrified at the thought. and as I came to find out it was pretty much just as uncomfortable as I had imagined, but it did end.
immediately following this, I had to head back to campus to finish up my long day. not without a stop to wawa, of course, to grab a $1.99 dulce de leche latte (how do people survive w/o wawa's???).
on this drive I finally started listening to the new Taylor Swift album via short, itunes samples, which I know many girls have already gotten their clutches on, but yet is still becoming more and more uncool. fooey. it felt nice to sort of be taken back. I had no interest in Red, even though Fearless and Speak Now were the anthems of my life back in high school. even though the sound is nothing like the "old Taylor" as some like to describe her, I think it's neat to see how she's sort of changed and evolved as she's aged and had different experiences. it's pretty comparable to how the average young human's life is. so, yeah, even if it's lost some popularity to like Taylor, I still love her and this album. my favorite song so far on 1989 so far is Wildest Dreams and I'm planning a trip to target to purchase it as I speak (or type rather).
now that I've lectured on that...
my us history II professor is probably one of my favorite profs ever. and his alma mater happens to be the school I so dang wanna transfer to next fall. I literally don't want to leave his lectures. that's saying something if you ask me.
I came home after my last class and catching up with a few friends on campus, cleaned up my room, folded laundry, and called my mom.
yes, it was a pretty average day, but at least there's Taylor, and lattes, and us history.
